The weather gods smiled upon us last week after we set up this pretty little birthday high tea on the beach for Sam and her friends to enjoy at sunset… only minutes before their arrival a downpour happened right over the dunes, just metres away from us. Sometimes you just get lucky and that day we were ever so grateful!
The birthday girl and her friend are two very clever photographers, so while these are just my amateur snapshots of our styling and florals, we may see some very pretty people shots soon xo

Lacey and Jeff did the cutest of engagement shoots with Kellie Blinco Photography and it was clear from these pictures that they had impeccable taste and an appreciation for the little details.
Not only did I have the pleasure of meeting these two gorgeous people and styling their vintage inspired, elegant Wedding, but I had the pleasure of meeting their most beautiful family and seeing first hand the love they are surrounded by. So special.
The Ceremony and Reception were held at an amazing private property owned by Jeff’s grandparents with ample space and endless choices of beautiful locations to pick from. Upon entering the driveway you drove through 50 metres or more of bamboo reaching up to the sky before it opened up into beautiful paddocks and lines of gorgeous trees. The marquee was erected nearby to a river with the Ceremony held close by. The couple said their I Do’s under a lace draped arbour amongst beautiful trees and 140 friends and family. Following the Ceremony, guests enjoyed pre-reception drinks and hors d’oeuvres while relaxing in a picnic style setting, playing games and sharing laughs.

The most beautiful thing I have seen. Both the couple and the photos, everything just lovely.
I recently turned 30 and to celebrate we had a Summer Fiesta with a taco bar, tattoo station (fake of course!), a neon dotted Cactus that served as a photo booth and slushie margaritas and pina coladas served in mason jar mugs. The outdoor space was styled with assorted skulls, bright coloured roses arranged in tin cans, an assortment of refreshing and delicious Jarritos, rows of rope lighting, tassel garlands and colourful papel picado bunting strung overhead, with a row of wooden tables and metal wooden slatted chairs for guests to be seated at.
Being a personal celebration, we missed our opportunity to get a bucket load of snaps to share with you… but here are a few we managed early on. Next time I’ll be sure to arrange a professional !!
